What is Virtualization?
Virtualization is the process of running a company in a controlled, technologically advanced online virtual space while utilizing specifically designed policies to ensure maximum efficiency and performance of all team members from anywhere in the world. It's the ultimate business model for peak efficiency.
We already use Sharepoint/Confluence/JIRA - how can Mercois help us?
It depends; if your company is using those tools properly, then you're probably doing just fine, however Mercois can review how your systems are being utilized and determine if the proper policies, habits, team members, and training is in place. If your company is using Virtual solutions and you still feel things can be improved, they probably can.
What do you get for the monthly fee?
The monthly fee is tied to Atlassian's JIRA Studio and varies based on the number of users. For independently hosted solutions, the fee may also include off-site backup solutions. Mercois makes no money off the Monthly fees, we simply set your company up to deal with the source directly.
Are there monthly costs involved?
Yes, but they are very low given the services provided. For a small company of only 5 people, the cost is only $60/mo where an Enterprise solution is still under $1,000/mo. The Packages page has more details on this.
How much does it cost, and how long does it take?
The depends on the size of the company, the existing infrastructure, any additional implementation or conversion that needs to take place, custom configuration, and training. The Packages section outlines the basic costs and time, but each company is different. This is why the initial consultation is so important.
How long will Mercois provide support for?
It depends on the package you purchase, but the base is usually 30 days. If more support is necessary, it can be set up.
Do your solutions support mobile devices?
Absolutely. IMAP mail, SMS communications, Google OpenSocial Gadgets, and more!
Does Mercois provide Hosting?
No, we are a technical consulting firm, not a ISP/Hosting firm.
Do I need to host the Virtual systems myself?
No. There are great packages available for remote hosting.
What Hardware will I need to purchase?
Most companies will need to purchase no additional hardware, however those who wish to host their own servers or run a scanning system to go completely paperless will have to make some purchases. This will be outlined in the presentation after the initial consultation, along with projected costs.
Do you offer management training separate from Virtualization?
Yes, but we prefer to focus on management methods specific to Virtualization. If a company has issues with their team and they need help managing, this is usually an indication they also need help with their technology.
