Collaboration

—The root of virtualization is online collaboration. —Those who have not used an online collaboration system are unaware of the power of such technology, but more importantly, how easy it is to use. —Those who have used other systems, such as Sharepoint, have had a taste, but may be jaded through poor implementation, or lack of knowledge on proper utilization. —The majority of all companies that utilize online collaboration technology do not use it to the fullest potential. —Most companies do not realize the technology integrated into the online collaboration systems, including: —Public Access with high security restrictions —Asset Revision Support (tracking multiple versions of a file) —Ease of use —The biggest enemy of Collaboration is mixing old habits and systems out of comfort rather than putting a stop to their use altogether.
