Integration
There are three types of integration methods for virtualization:
- Clean Slate – This method is generally used when no existing system is in place.
- Conversion - This method is used when an existing system needs to be converted to the new system.
- Parallel – In rare cases, some systems may be used in parallel with the Virtualization system.
Existing Business Integration
Virtualization of existing businesses can vary based on the following criteria:
- Company Size
- Business Type
- Existing Infrastructure (Tasks, Collaboration/Documentation, Assets/Repository, Customers / Clients)
- Schedule (By when do specific goals need to be achieved?)
New Business Integration
Integrating proper Virtualization into a new company is the easiest approach. With this structure, a business can be built to operate virtually from the start.
